If's...

Some may not understand why and where some of my thoughts come from but sometimes I don't either. It is not something I sit and think about, well not most of the time. But usually when the words come they come from the heart for reasons, or for no real reasons other than, that what happens to come bubbling out from my heart.

So here are my bubbles for tonight
.

If you didn't have the time of the world and you knew what was to come would you love any different. Would you take the time to stop and appreciate the closeness of those you love or those that love you?

What if?

We all wait for tomorrow to come, and we expect tomorrow to be here. But there will be a day that tomorrow will not come. This is not to be a doom and gloom thought, quite the opposite. It is not our tomorrows that we should be looking at. But rather than our todays. We always wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow I will get out. Tomorrow I will be a better person. Tomorrow I will help one person. Tomorrow will be the day I love a little more. I could go on and on...but that is enough, I get the point...I think you do to.

If time stood still we would never run out of it and then nothing would ever change, and everything would stay the same. But Time continues to move and it passes by even as I sit here. So what are we doing with our Time? Waiting for tomorrow to come, or looking at today and what is here and now? Time marks our time here and what we do. So as we let time and days slip away, never to be gotten back, do we sit back and say "what if" for the time that we have lost or do we cherish that time?

If we have lost time, we cannot let that time that was lost fill our todays with if's. All we can do is look forward and remember the Time that we did not loose and learn from it so our Todays are not filled with if"s. Now I am not referring to regret, this is about "if's". The time we wish "what if" I would have said this, done this, etc. We will all have these times but if we live each day with the "Hope" to make it better in some way, no mater how small it may be. Then we will have the "Faith" that today and tomorrow may be a little better. And why because the "Love" in our hearts would be shining thru.

So where am I going with all this....well to go all around the tree just to get to this simple spot, it is just this. Love those around you and see the world around you, really see it. And take that extra second to let those in your life know that you love them. And always remember the little things are usually the most important. And never take it (life/love/relationships) for granted. We all only have so much time, don't let that time be filled with "if's"The three words that I hold on to every day are above.

But just in case you missed them here ya go...

"Faith, Hope, & Love"

Living or Excisting???

ok so here this goes, just bear with me!
We all can say that we are alive.  We get up and go to work and come home and do what we do in our normal routine, and then we shut down and begin everything all over again the next day.  well sad to say but that is not living....Itis just Excisting.
We all need to try and break out from our routine, myself incuded!!!  And begin to Live our lives, insterad of waiting for them to slip by.
But if we coninue in this path we will have waisted away a lifetime of friends and expereinces, just by "Excisting"...none of us want to become extinct, and that is what happens when we are just excisting.
Everyone needs a hand sometime and maybe a nudge...lets all start to Live a little

What we really see??

Well today you could say I had an "Eye Opening" experience.  No it was nothing drastic just me observing people as I do.  But I will explain that a bit later...but here is my thought on "What we really see"...
We go through our days looking at things, and some things we just never really see.  And not just things but more importantly people.  Alot of or judgments are based on what someone looks like.  How tall or short, skin color, hair color, skinny or fat, pretty or not, we judge each other on what we see.  We also judge the environment by what we see.
BUT...what are we really seeing???  Did we see that flower in with the trash or did we see the trash?  Did we see the mother loving her baby so much?  Did we see the couple who are just happy to be with each other?  Did we see the man in the expensive car crying?  Did we see the big house filled with no love?  Did we see the homeless family just happy to be together?  Did we see the sun come out and realize it is a new day?
I know too many questions right, nah I don't think there are enough.  But I hope we see what I am getting at.
We don't take enough time to really see the world around us.  Sometimes we just need to close our eyes and really see the world around us.  OK so now I have twisted this, right?  Well not really.  We are, by nature judgmental on what we see, this is from society and the world we live in.  BUT if we just stop and close our eyes and see the world around us and really appreciate what we have and see what is all around us.  Did you hear a bird sing today?  Did you hear a loving voice today?  Did you feel the sun warming your skin?  Did you smell something wonderful today?
So if we could see, really see the world around us from time to time.  Slow down to appreciate what we have and what is all around us we could actually see this world in a new light.  Yes I know there is a lot of negative around us, but sometimes we get so focused on the bad that we miss out on all the good.  The true caring people have for each other, the compassion and the love.  And really see the world we live in.  Not all the negative but look at the good too.  If everyone would look at the good that happens everyday, and report on the good that happens, then some of the bad may actually go away.  Then we could "Really See" the good in the world.  But this has to happen personally first.
So what brought this on today???  Well I spent lunch with some friends today, and a bunch of their friends.  The compassion and the caring for each other no matter the shape, size, color, background, cloths, none of that mattered.  I had the privilege to spend a little bit of time with them today.  And I got to see, "Really See" the good in people instead of all the bad that we always focus on.
And I think that they actually see better than I do at times, and I am the one that can see.
